Online Safety Act - Destroying

The UK's Online Safety Act has forced adults & children around the world to enter highly personal, sensitive & often immutable information into random, untrusted websites.

The OSA Under 18 extension is free & intended to be installed by concerned parents with a view to protecting their children, without the need for invasive data sharing.

About

The OSA - Under 18 extension adds a unique "x-osa-under18" header to every request - allowing websites to check for it before deciding which content to display.

Unlike other "privacy-preserving" methods - this extension neither collects nor shares ANY user data with anyone.

The extension will never collect, share or leverage any user data - directly or indirectly.

We couldn't detect the OSA - Under 18 extension. If you're under 18, please ask your parent/guardian to protect you from harmful content.

How to implement OSA - Under 18

All incoming requests, top-level navigation or XMLHTTP, will include an "x-osa-under18" header. The existence of this header means your visitor is under 18.

A simple bool check allows you to decide if you should show content.
